This is a second article on shooting Gulls with a new perspective. I was up high enough to be eye level while they hovered over the surf.

When I realized I could get these shots all I could think of was ‘wrong gear’. I had a slower camera body and a jack of all trades lens.

I’m not one of those gear collectors who just loves the stuff. However, I am a believer of using the right tool for the job.

I don’t make an effort to shoot Gulls and I think maybe I should try doing this more often..
