This town, Charleston, is called the Holy City. That’s because of the huge number of churches here.
From the early days as a small community in the 1700’s people of different faiths fled here for religious freedom.
The skyline is filled with the spires and towers of these churches.
However, there is limited places to get high enough to photograph them. When a new vantage point is found local photographers share the location…and we all run to it.
Of course we try to come up with different images, from the same spot. Tricky.
