I walked along a dike with high reeds and this Tricolor walked along with me.

I first spotted him through a gap in the tall grass. An awkward shot above, but he was doing the ‘shake’ so I took the photograph anyway.

I assumed I would lose him when I stepped from the reeds to an open spot.

I guess he was OK with the distance between us so we both kept going on.

Ultimately I walked back into some thick reeds and that was the end. The next open spot he was gone.

He was pretty well hidden so I’m glad I was able to at least get these.
