Owls are not the only one that like to eat Crawfish.
This is a pretty dark place and shooting here I typically need to wait for light to shift, or the bird to move. Here the Ibis stepped forward into a bright spot.
Alligators must have moved on. It’s not deep here and the bird would not be just standing around.
That is a very beautiful ibis.
And very beautifully photographed.
I followed him around later on too, have not looked at the photographs yet. If we have a few good days it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
