Always around, but never get noticed. Well, not 100% true. You will hear them.

This was a large group, but sometimes it’s only a few. They ‘laugh’ long and loud, hence the name.

On their own they are not a bad looking animal. But really pushy, like all Gulls.

Most of our Gulls stay along the shore line, except these. This marsh is about 20 miles (32 k) inland which is an easy trip for them.

Because the coast here is lined with marshes and swamps many smaller shore birds come inland too. However they tend to stay away from large groups like this, probably get stepped on.
A rare visitor here. Handsome birds.
I know they are up north, we had them in Connecticut. Not sure how far they go..
