Aside from this being a decent shot, and reflections of a Little Blue I have no story. Well, there probably was at the time but right now I can’t remember where I shot these.

The other reflections in the water tell me nothing.
Can’t go look it up, we shut down all the PC’s and drives. The first patches of Hurricane Dorian are outside. Just thunder and rain, but the Lowcountry thunder storms are extraordinary, a power down is prudent.
Anyway, this is an adult Little Blue Heron with some of the breeding colors intact. The magenta colors on the head and neck are the colors. I thought they would be gone now. However, this is not the first I have seen like this lately.

There are song birds with all the colors of the rainbow, but I don’t know of another bird with a stunning magenta/purple coloring.
