These were taken near the Ashley River, Charleston, South Carolina right before Hurricane Doria. Water was low, just as the wading birds like it.

Above a Great Egret was working through the mud, while below a Blue Heron was doing the same.

This area is inaccessible now since the storm however I did see photographs taken nearby. A mess, but even though there was a loss of big trees it could have been much worse.
