While working on a series shot inside a church I came upon some of the rooftop spires. The light and contrasts needed a B&W finish.
Due to city height restrictions there are very few places to capture these angles. Local photographers will however share their special spot.
- We all know the same locations
- It’s the rooftop of a public garage.
Ah, yes, the public garage…best views in the city. 🙂 Looks great in monochrome, Ted.
😂😂. Most places people don’t want to park up top, in Charleston we all do LOL.
😂
Nice but I would’ve liked to have seen the whole of the weather vane on top. Have you got another shot that shows it?
You are right, but it got cut 😳😳😳
Just checked Ellens photo that I used with my wind poem and it’s the same church with the weather vane clearly in view so I have it! It occurred to me once I turned in last night that it might be the very same vane 🙂
Yep, same one. It depends on which lens we use if we can get an entire spire in a shot. On a roof there are not many options LOL.
The buildings in Charleston are really beautiful, you’re certainly spoilt for choice!
Guilty as charged LOL
