Mom Is Here, Alligator

Mom Is Here, Alligator

This is Mom. She came by the other day, slow and quiet, just looking around.

At last count she had 12 little ones (real little) chirping around in the overhanging branches.

I did not see any this time, but I know they are still around.

She has been on her best behavior not bothering anyone. Alligators will stay with their young, the only reptile to do that, for upwards of two years.

    1. I agree except for ‘people’. In general common sense if left home when they go on vacation. We are a big tourist town and there are places Alligators and people meet. There are some interactions that I honestly side with the Alligator. I tend to think of it as natural selection 😂
