Fall here is not filled with bright colors on the trees. What we do have is shades of golden grass and reeds. Add morning light and a Heron for a perfectly acceptable trade off.

My first thought was to edge closer to the Great Blue but that meant a long walk in the open.

I did just opposite, made the shots wider landscapes.
