We had a typical early fall the other day. By that I mean cool morning, hot afternoon, and wildlife a little spotty.
I must always give a caveat after making a statement like that. I would have been ecstatic up north with what I call a ‘spotty day’.
Most of the large wading birds were passing through heading else where.
This Wood Stork is one of only a few I found. I went to several different marshes too.
If I went back to the same places later on I might have found dozens. It’s the nature of shooting wildlife.
