This Bald Eagle has obviously dealt with large groups of Crows before. They are enemies to say the least.

It was interesting that the Crows did not really go after this Eagle. Made noise, but not much else. I have seen some pitched battles in which the Eagle usually takes a beating while leaving the area.

This one had to time to rest, look around, and even watch us watching him.
Even though we knew almost exactly where the Eagle was sitting we stayed across the rice field. This was more interesting than looking up at an Eagle butt.
Note; a flock of crows can be called a ‘murder’. Not because of anything sinister but because of an old English poem. The nickname stuck.
