I have no idea how long he was sitting right behind me, watching.
When I finally turned away from some Herons he dropped and away to glide a little down the trail.
He must have been curious because I walked up and he just looked at me.
I actually left first. The hawk was comfortable and the rain started again.

These are the most common Hawks here. I was surprised to find they are the only Hawk species in the head waters of the Everglades. Thanks.
