These photographs were taken at the Donnelley WMA, ACE Basin.
This is one of the few places you might have enough time to see them coming at you. Very fast birds and the more time you have for setup the better your chances.
These Ibis were leaving a marsh and turned to fly in a good direction for me.
When Ibis fly in a group they are normally spread out. This means if you are shooting fast enough to catch them, you are also going to have a few in the group not in focus. Hard to get both.
These worked out to be OK, not great but good enough.
If they are close, and just a couple birds the odds increase in your favor.
