Found this Egret skulking along the edge of a old rice field.
Considering they will eat almost anything this should have been a great spot.
Didn’t catch a thing, and moved on.

Great Egrets are the true beauty of the bird world come mating season. That’s why they are the symbol of the Audubon Society. (John J Audubon worked the swamp where this photo was taken.
