A catch and swallow and it’s over. All done in a few seconds.
Great sequence of shots, Ted. I have not yet seen an anhinga, so this is the closest I can get to experiencing this cool “trick.”
I have seen Cormorant do it if they catch a big fish. Thanks. Anhinga are strange critters. The only thing they are afraid of is an Alligator.
