As the tide moves in and out the residents grab space on sand bars. This salt marsh has several and at times it’s standing room only.

Above Cormorants, Willets, and even a Reddish Egret are piled together. The water wasn’t even gone yet.

The ones in charge here look to be the big White Pelicans. This is salt water so the Alligators are not around.

A few birds not being sociable hang on the edges, but not too far. When the tide is completely out they all want a dry spot.
