A series of a Pelican diving on a school of fish. A scene you can never tire of.
The tide here was moving fish out of the bay, under a causeway bridge. Pelicans followed the fish and tide from the bridge to the open water, then flew back and repeated the pattern.
How they spot prey down below like this is a mystery to me. When they do a quick turn and they dive.
They always turn to their left for a dive.
That has to hurt.
