The Standard Fare, Shrimp And Heron

The Standard Fare, Shrimp And Heron

The birds in tropical locales sure seem to have a better menu than South Carolina residents.

If I can make it in a day these guys could be down in time for a late dinner. Not sure why they don’t all leave.

Like people, the northerners coming south, the wading birds could go a little further.

  1. This is an amazing photograph Ted. The shrimp look very large. Enjoyed the Spoonbill picture so much as well. My husband and I looked this beautiful creature up this morning after I shared your photo. Such a magnificent bird. Gets its beautiful pink color from the food it eats and can become magenta colored depending on the birds age. Really enjoyed this series of shots. Thank you. Love J
