Several times I spotted these ducks but never was able to ID them.
I held off publishing anything until I had at least a decent guess as to their breed.
After a bit I have come up with the Mottled Duck.

These may be the first decent shots I have had of these ducks. A little larger than most but I think they would be lost in a group of other species.
We have been getting a number of new species with the changing weather (a nice way to say climate change for the misinformed…did I say that!). Thanks.
