This photograph captured the ‘breeding’ patterns of a White Pelican.

The lore, area in front of the eye is a more pronounced yellowish color on the right side bird.

The same bird also has the ‘breeders bump’ on the upper bill. This disappears after mating season.

Both male and female display the same characteristics during breeding time.
