Walking on a back trail through a swamp I saw nothing, not even a small bird in brush. I was all alone.
Which meant the further I went the less attention I paid.
A bit of movement over my head and there he was. Looking as interested as I was.
I paid a little more attention after this. Didn’t see anything, but paid attention.

Pretty common here, in Florida they are like sparrows…everywhere
I just had to chuckle a little, there are so many sparrows everywhere, I can not imagine a bird that size everywhere. I will look for them next time I am in Florida.
When (much) younger the thing I remember about my first Florida trip. Palm trees and White Ibis on the side of the road. LOL.
