No matter attention, or experience, there are things you miss noticing. In this case we were looking one way, some ‘action’ was happening the other way.

One would think it hard to miss a pile of Alligators. These were not juveniles either. I’m not sure how big because they all mashed together. But the color, a lack of, says they are a minimum of 4-5 years old. So a guess is no less than 4 feet (they can grow a foot a year for the first 3 years).

Just off to side was this juvenile. Didn’t see him either until we were walking back past for the second time.

How can you miss them you might ask?

Keeping an eye on the one above. I have published one of him before. This was where he was found.

Note; it was really no big deal and happens all the time. Probably at least 30 feet between us at any given time. But hey…makes a great story.
