  1. How beautiful this stained glass window is. Very beautiful!
    I used to go to a small church that belonged to a monastery (it’s closed right now). The church was very simple but also had stained glass windows, they were amazing.

    1. The older Charleston Churches were founded by wealthy merchants and plantation owners. The town is called the ‘Holy City’ because there are so many churches. Tiffany stained glass is common here with one of the Tiffany children actually moving here due to the number of homes and churches that were clients. Many survived the Civil War (don’t know how).
