This article is for anyone who has wondered how all the Alligators and Turtles get up on the old ramps. The short answer is they pile on. The long is in the images below…
Above you can see the usual ‘pile o critters’ I find. Another Alligator is moving into the scene (bottom right).
And here he goes… climbing up and paying no attention to anything going on around (or under) him.

It’s a chain reaction, with the first Alligator suddenly finding himself crowded out.
At any time a bigger gator might swim by and decide to push in, and even more fall out the front.

Yeah it helps. Alligator will only eat one when. They are very hungry, even then it’s hard.

I love this series! Why were the ramps built?
Years ago the ramps were built to keep the Alligators off trails and paths. Let them have a safe place (they are protected here except a brief hunt in certain areas).
So now Alligators have ramps, trails, and paths. Choices, they have choices. And yet… at times they walk right out next to you like you don’t exist LOL.
Ramps, trails, AND paths now. That’s awesome! They are so punk rock, they go where they want when they want, to hell with the establishment and their expectations! 🤘🏽🐊🐢
