These hawks have established their territories now, at least it seems that way.
When out we can make a pass through a few different spots and have decent chance of seeing them.
They hunt here by finding a place with a good view, and waiting.
Eventually something moves in the grasses down below.
It’s not fancy, they drop down on their prey. It’s effective though.
