I’m thinking that a pile might be the perfect collective noun, Ted, for a group of alligators, considering how often you photograph them draped over each other. A pile of gators? Why not?
Like this shot they get so ‘piled’ you have to look very close to see just how many there actually are. Strange habits 😀

Strange? I remember different days when humans would try to see how many could fit into the back seat of a Volkswagen or into a phone booth. 🙂

LOL, of yeah. I called our relocation to Charleston the trip in ‘the clown car’. Every time we made a pot stop and opened the doors put popped Ellen, me, the dog, and half our belongings. LOL.
