The show may have been cut short for photographers this year, however what we were able to capture early on was spectacular. As it always is.

I was looking at the large version of this on my screen when Nigel came along and greatly admired the shot. “Please tell him from me”, said he, “that.. that is the most WONDERFUL shot”. And of course it is! Thank you Ted 🙂
A very kind compliment and thank you both very much. The last month here is their mating season, and this is a daily occurrence. Of course we only photographed a few before the lock down.
Yes, we were just getting these spectacular displays when we suddenly couldn’t go to the wetlands anymore. 🙁
Exactly what happened here. I have a full rookery down the road. Filled with Herons and Egrets, a trail right along the swamp. All closed down now. Lucky to have caught the few I did.
This is perfect, and you just have to open it up whole to take in its wonder and graceful beauty. I am in awe at how you balance out all these whites so perfectly, Ted! Bravo! If I had hand-clapping icons to pick from my desktop PC I would be putting a few up there now to end this!
Wow, thank you so much. 🙏🙏🙏. Very kind sir.
