I shot this grouping in what can be ‘the danger zone’ for me. Basically not too close or too far. Get a perspective of the surrounding area.
For me this can be hard because pulling the lens back too far means losing all the details of the scene.
Where we stand in relation to the nesting trees only works late afternoon here too.
I have obviously screwed up this type of image before (more than once).
When it works you get to see a great view.
These are wonderful moments! For me they are very unique and if one day I would see even one nest with young ones in it I would be very happy.
