The shell is hard. When in danger they can dig quickly and cover themselves with the hard back. Loading...
One fertilizer egg produces 4 identical (genetically identical) off spring. So I guess they would be clones. I only know of them having 4. Loading...

Do they really have 8 cloned babies?
