Shades and contrasts of black and white seemed to suit these images. Perhaps it was the open negative space, not sure. While I did publish a color photograph from this scene the other day I prefer this style.

    1. Yes they are as long as the light isn’t harsh. Otherwise they are a nightmare to shoot like any white bird is when it’s like that. I just love their colors and turned up beak. 💜
