The shore bird everyone wants to see, and I’m included here, is the Pelican. Big, agile, and prehistoric.
Living here we get to see a lot of them.
But the other day, we had hundreds.
The plan was to see about a few sunset photographs. But the ongoing flocks passing by stole the show.
Brown Pelicans move in small flocks and usually stay right on the shore line. Groups of 10 to 30 dotted the horizon, all flying in a line.
It was impressive.
