There’s always a story, just some are more detailed than others.
This is a simple one.
On a good day I can find a place to stand and have everything come to me. That’s why it’s called a good day. This was one.
Several Egrets flew back and forth while I stayed in one spot.
I decided to keep them together in a single article since that’s how they came to me.
Wow, Ted, it sure is nice when the action comes to you. With the places that I visit, that is rarely the case, so I am usually trudging on, in almost constant motion, trying to stay alert to opportunities. You did a super job in capturing the details of the feathers of the flying egrets–I personally know how easy it is to blow out the details of the highlights, because the feathers are so brilliantly white.
Thanks Mike. Having so much wildlife is the entire reason we moved down here. People thought we were crazy to sell everything and go to a place we barely knew LOL. That said, we do need to work marshes the size of some states, but we have unique options.
Thanks for comments on the white bird issues. It took a while to get that, and you are well aware how often you lose detail even with lots of practice 🙂
Lovely shots!
Thanks. Was a good day
What a joy to have all that beauty in one place! Awesome action shots Ted!
Thanks. Soon I will need to go out and work for the shots again
