I was hoping to get a few shots of this guy fishing.
After a minute I was hoping to get a shot of him doing something, anything.
It’s a Yellow-crowned and they are not easy to catch so I will take these.

They look so different those Yellow-crowned Night Herons from our Black-crowned Night Herons. I think this heron is a little taller and more elegant. Fantastic photos!!!

We have both here. The Yellow-crowned head is thinner, a shorter bill too. Both have those ruby red eyes.
