The other morning my timing must have been good. The light coming up over the marshes made for great contrasts and shadows.
Night Herons in all shapes and sizes were out too.

Very nice, that is some great lighting and love those branches.

The sunlight hits the marsh in the morning, this time of year, and gives nice side lighting. Getting out there for it means an very early trip. This is approximately 4 miles from a paved road.

We hit the light at the right (early) time the other day. Found a number of birds too.
