Stork Has Landed

Stork Has Landed

A series taken just as a Wood Stork landed in a marsh. When landing they are too big to just stop instantly, like a big airplane they may need a little runway length.

This bird almost skipped along for a small distance.

I appreciate a big zoom and ‘back button focus’ when I have opportunities like this.

  1. I would love to see one of these, if you had not said he was coming in for a landing, it looked to me like he is tip toeing across the water trying to sneak up on something . 🙂

    1. That’s funny, I had the thought he was running almost like chasing something 😂😂😂. I went back and looked at the images and their file numbers. He was landing 😀. I try to publish images in the order they were taken if it makes sense to the story.

    2. I would love to see them land. He is not like the white pelicans, where they put their webbed feet out and ski in for a landing. Funny how different they all are.
