Old Plantation Pond

Old Plantation Pond

A view I’ve seen numerous times, but rarely photograph. Usually I am pointing higher up of this scene. Bald Eagles love to perch in these tree tops since the nest not far from here.

A larger bridge, same style, was recently destroyed when one of these large trees fell on it. The bridge was approximately 200 years old. Amazing how they are rebuilding it with old sunken Cypress tress, the same wood as here, just as old as the original bridge.

  1. This place is unique and what I like also about it that Bold Eagles like to perch on those tall and strong trees. That is a very beautiful scene!
