This is the main section of what we call the ‘Osprey Tree’. They have a nest the size of some motels. It grows bigger every year.

Each year there are two young birds. From what I know they both usually grow and survive. That’s hard out here. Bald Eagle live just down the marsh and they also have a big nest. Eagles and Osprey do fight a lot right here.

Above is an adult also in the tree. One of the pair is close by most of the time.

That is nice to know that these birds survive! Excellent photos and very unique.
Probably the biggest danger would be high winds, like a hurricane. These chicks are late, usually the chicks are gone before hurricanes hit.
