I found an illustrated book of birds that was written in the 1950’s at the thrift store. There’s a spread about these birds in it. I’ll make a post out of it so I can share it with you and Ellen. I think you two would appreciate it.

Working on it now! Should be ready to post on Sunday. Can’t get out for photo walks with all the wildfires nearby. Socked in with smoky ashy super poor air quality. But happy to be safe. Hope you and Ellen are doing well!
