A quick capture of a Great Egret leaving a rookery.
There are a few sets from this years breeding to be finished. When it’s mating season we take literally thousands of photographs. Every year we reach the point where we shuffle the images into a ‘to do’ pile and eventually pick through over time.
Tropical heat and a pandemic is mostly likely the ‘time’.
