Getting Dry At The Lagoon, Anhinga

Getting Dry At The Lagoon, Anhinga

I had to look up the definition of a lagoon, and while I don’t think a man made dike counts, the pond water is fresh, the other side is salt. Which is the description of a lagoon. It’s also in the middle of a 200 year old cemetery. Everyone calls this the lagoon, so it must be LOL.

Anhinga will fish in both sides of the lagoon but they prefer fresh water.

As I walked by he really wanted to ignore me, but just couldn’t. He kept twisting around to watch me.

Eventually he drove down and swam off. Even under water they are very fast, so no swimming shots.
