Getting close enough fro any decent photographs of Glossy has not happened all year. This day the bad luck streak was broken.
At the far end of a dike a small group mingled with some Spoonbills.
With the heat, pandemic, and just 2020 general chaos these will probably be all I find until next year.

Thank you. Usually I see them in small flocks, but out in a marsh too far for nice shots like these. White Ibis are more common here.
