An Old Friend, Peacock

An Old Friend, Peacock

Even though he is right down the road I have not seen him lately.  One of the wandering Peacocks from the old Magnolia Plantation.

He has lost most of those beautiful tail feathers. Breeding season is over and females are in the barn I think.

Not much for him to do now but dig in the dirt and take a nap. He didn’t even bother to greet us as we came by.
