Now I realize just how strange a summer this had been.
Yesterday was the first time I bumped into a local on the trail with me since… I don’t even remember.
He looks moldy. Swampy residue? He was close! Yikes!
That moldy is swamp grass and Duck Weed they swim through. As for distance, maybe 5 feet. It’s not unusual there, the trail is shared. It’s fine as long as they lay on the edge to we can walk by. There are a few that like to sprawl right across the whole width 🙂. Those you make a judgement call about stepping over their tail. The first time I had to do that it was early morning, I had just moved here and I was by myself… 😂🤣😂
