Taken in an old cemetery on a marsh. At the time I was using a short lens and paying no attention to any wildlife that was around. At least until this Osprey dove over a small pond right in front of me.
I made a quick change to a longer lens, he gave me all time I needed.
This was not the first time I have seen one fishing here. Usually I don’t carry a bag here, too much shooting down low for landscape shots. But I had it and he gave me more than enough time.
Note; This is another test of the new WordPress Block Editor. I am keeping this as basic as possible, except writing on an IPad with a keyboard. I do find even a ‘basic 101’ article requires more button clicks and option selections than the Classic Editor.
Majestic bird! I saw Osprey only once in my life and I didn’t have a chance to photograph it. Exceptional images, Ted!!!
It’s amazing to watch one dive into the water from up high, disappear way down under, and moments later float back up…with a fish.
By the way, you are so good with new editor. Some day I will give it a try 🙂
Thanks. This is as basic as I could create. If I keep the web site, even as a secondary one, I need to learn the basics.
Might as well try it.
Exactly! I feel pretty annoyed about the extra clicking and mucking around.. much of it is unnecessary and simply bad design!
I have 7,000 pages and over 25,000 images… I am reluctant to move on 😧
