This Spoonbill was moving between marsh ponds in the morning. They tend to feed until late morning, then rest until the evening.

    1. Some have become year round residents. Only happened in the last few years. I think breeding is still in Fl and further south.

      Water flow and levels in Fl have changed and pushed them inland and north. A change in the Everglades flow wiped out huge colonies, but 10% – 15% of the juveniles will yearly look for new hunting grounds. They found South Carolina 🙂
