This image includes, the obvious White Pelicans, as well as Snowy Egrets, and Tricolored Herons.
I think within two hours we had heavy clouds, full golden sun, and everything in between. At some point I gave up changing my white balance.
This time of year the larger marshes have Thick grass and reeds much taller than me. The only way to shoot is to walk along and find holes in grass. There is no pushing through. First is the thingies that live in there, big and little. Second is the fact you can’t see the drop off. Falling in the water is not an option!
