This was one of several White Ibis in the old cemetery.
Along a large marsh pond are very thick Live Oaks filled with Spanish Moss.
Unless you can find a good angle, they are invisible.

Excellent composition. I love the dark, greenish, gloomy backdrop and the way the sharp detailed branch stands out from the curtains of Spanish Moss. The ibis looks a bit soft-focused as well, adding to the eeriness. A great “swamp” photo.
Thanks so much, greatly appreciated. Something a little different 😊
This is one of my favorites of yours,Ted. Great composition and so environmental with all that wonderful spanish moss. Nice eye detail also. To my eye a slight adjustment downward of the highlights on the ibis’s back would make this perfect.
Thanks so very much, appreciated. Without looking I think this was one where the highlights were pushed as much as possible, a usual practice of mine. Like all white birds, tricky 😂😂. Thanks again.
Ted, the background is amazing, it’s looks like a mysterious waterfall. So excellent, so beautiful!
I tried to use some toning a little different here. Thanks so much.
