Two Spoonbills, a first year young bird on the left, all fuzzy headed. A two or three year old on the right. His head is getting smooth.
Both birds were looking right at me for this shot, but the young one following the signals from the adult. Neither felt threatened so they continued to walk around near me.
None of them flew off, kind of casually strolled off down the marsh.

They are magnificent creatures. I have yet to see them in the wild. You might enjoy looking at Timothy Price site. He is an amazing wildlife photographer too. He has these owls that live on his property and they are so beautiful. I would love to buy myself some great equipment but I just don’t feel like I could justify it. Happy shooting my friend. ❤️Joni
