Phoebes like to stay along the edge of a swamp here.
They are a true creature of habit. If you watch them they will drop down over the water, swoop up and move between two different perches.
Find a good spot by one of the perches and wait. There’s a good chance you can get multiple shots.
Gorgeous!
Thanks. I hadn’t been out near a swamp in months, happily found several of these.
BEAUTIFUL captures!
Thanks so much. ‘Little Birds’ is not my best work, so greatly appreciated.
Love my yearly visitors and all the babies they raise here.
🙏🙏, thank you very much. The Lowcountry swamps seem to be a favorite spot for many.
We truly are blessed.
